I was thinking that maybe a current events forum be added to the site. It would go under General, but basically, we could post news articles there. Anyways, do you all think this is a good idea?

I don't know...
The CheatMasters blog isn't too popular.

If you notice, most posts and threads are in the playground section of the ChaetMasters forum.

Perhaps doing stuff more like that will help.

That was actually why I suggested the "Forum Games" forum(or sub-forum).
The largest thread on CheatMasters is the This or That Game thread. Which was located in the Forum Games section.
